A new vision and mission

Over the past couple of years, the things that we have been working on for customers have slowly coalesced around a single vision, which we are now ready to share:

All books, accessible to all

At Book Genesis, our mission is helping authors and publishers make all their books accessible to all people, so that all of their writing can reach the widest possible audience. To achieve this mission,

• We develop book production tools and systems with accessibility baked in;
• We consult with our customers to help assess and improve existing systems; and
• We train authors and publishers in the art of accessibility.

We recently helped one of our customers implement a "born accessible" digital workflow, through which they achieved the rank of Globally Certified Accessible Publisher and were awarded the Independent Publishers Guild 2020 Digital Publishing Award. More importantly, this publisher now has confidence that all of their books are accessible to all people. We love to help our customers succeed like that.
